Valentine's Day Wine Tasting We will be joining our neighbors, Crumbled Rock Winery again this year on February 11 & 12, 2012.  We will have delicious appetizers to accompany our wines and also be joined by two local artists.  Hours are 11am-5pm each day. $10 tasting fee. In the vineyard... We have nearly completed pruning our 16 acres and it feels like it!  The weather has been dry and even sunny for the most part so we've been lucky.  In the next couple weeks, the crew will be in to pull out all the brush that we've pruned off and then the vine tying begins.  Seems like the vineyard gets bigger each year!

Murto Vineyard is a small old family-run vineyard, located in the Dundee Hills in Oregon. Our passion is Pinot and we strive for perfection - knowing that wine really is made in the vineyard. Murto Vineyard was established in 1978 with initial plantings of Pinot Noir - Pommard and Wadensville clones. We've added more Pommard, some 115 clone Pinot Noir and nearly an acre of Pinot Gris.

The vineyard sits in a sheltered south-facing location, ranging in elevation from 400 to 700 feet. The red jory soil adds its magic to the wine - complexity, earthiness, richness and a unique peppery finish.

We offer both Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, under the label Cleo's Hill.
